Dr. Ronald de la Cruz is an American Board Certified orthodontist with over 30 years of experience in academic and clinical practice. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Emory University and a DDS degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. He completed his orthodontic specialization at Oregon Health Sciences University and holds an Academic Master’s degree from the University of Costa Rica.
Dr. de la Cruz has served as a professor of craniofacial growth and interceptive orthodontics at the University of Costa Rica, School of Dentistry, teaching at both the graduate and postgraduate levels. For more than a decade, he was the president of the Costa Rican Section of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, committed to social programs and continuing education.
Married to Marisol Lara for 33 years, Dr. de la Cruz is a proud father of three. He is also an active member of the Schoenstatt Catholic Movement, where he has held several leadership positions reflecting his commitment to faith and community.
